I will test all. In affiliate marketing, you may need to try many different kinds of products and industry to find which one converts. You will never know until you test. In my own experience, I have to promote almost 50 products to look for 5-8 gems.
As a rule of thumb, I tend to put aside low ticket items as the low commission is not sufficient to cover my advertising costs. I do a lot of pay per click advertisements. Commissions should be at least $10 for me.

    hotels; no challenge
keep in mind that affiliate marketing helpers [u] will earn pennies
for every dollar the founding company earns.
since you will be putting in x hours of time anyway, why not
become your own company, find UNMET needs and fill them
with your own creativity and earn the $ instead of the pennies.

I would pick a different product altogether. It seems like it would take tons of sales of bumper stickers to make you any money. And I imagine that the hotel discounts are VERY competitive which will make it difficult to market your site. So if it were me… I would pick a different niche altogether.

    NEITHER!!!!!
I looked at both – if you want to make money working flexible hours try americancarsigns.com, they are expanding and I have been with them for 7 months, give them a call.
We sell car top advertising, it sounded silly at first,, but it works!
    Good Luck.
